Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski Signs New Contract with the Club
Bayern Munich has announced that striker Robert Lewandowski has signed a new contract extension until 2026. The move marks the end of Lewandowski's current deal, which ran through the 2021-22 season.
Lewandowski, who is currently aged 34, has been one of Bayern Munich's most successful players in recent years, scoring over 70 goals for the club during his time there. He has also won numerous awards,Football New Perspective including the Golden Ball and World Player of the Year.
The new contract extension will see Lewandowski continue to play for Bayern Munich until at least 2026, giving him plenty of time to cement his place as one of the best strikers in world football.
"This is a huge boost for me and my family," said Lewandowski. "I am grateful to have such a great team like Bayern Munich behind me and I look forward to continuing to make history for this club."
Bayern Munich chairman Hans-Jürgen Klopp praised Lewandowski's commitment to the club and said he was excited about the prospect of working with him again.
"Robert is a世界级 player and we are delighted to have him back on board for another three years," said Klopp. "He is a leader on and off the pitch and his contributions to the club have been invaluable."
